SONGHEES WELLNESS CENTRE

Polaris provided a variety of land surveying services and more throughout the construction of the Songhees Wellness Centre in Victoria. Early on in the project we re-established the property lines, created a control network and conducted a topographic survey. As construction began we provided grid line control and measured the materials as they were removed from the site. With this information we calculated volumes of the blasted rock for comparison to the amounts measured by the contractor. We also conducted quality control of the construction surveyors and resolved discrepancies between design and constructed features.
